Our 2-Year-Olds Program is now available at Eyüboğlu Erenköy Kindergarten and Burçak Eyüboğlu Batı Ataşehir Kindergarten.

Designed in line with the developmental needs of young children, the Eyüboğlu 2-Year-Olds Program offers full-day, half-day, and playgroup options. With its play-based approach, the program nurtures children’s natural curiosity and provides safe, rich learning environments.

In our classes with a maximum of 10 children, individual needs are addressed with great care. Each class has at least two teachers, ensuring personalized guidance and meaningful one-on-one attention for every child.

Our Approach

At Eyüboğlu’s 2-Year-Olds Class, the learning process is shaped by a play-based approach that supports children’s natural curiosity. Daily routines are transformed into learning moments where children explore, try, and experience freely.

Our program prioritizes language development and social interaction. Creating an emotionally secure environment where every child feels safe and valued is essential to us. Daily activities aim to strengthen life skills and enrich learning through sensory experiences.

Daily Program and Activities

Our program options—playgroup, half-day, and full-day—are designed to meet the needs of both children and families:

• Playgroup: 09.30 – 11.30 / 15.00 – 17.00
• Half Day: 09.00 – 12.45 (includes breakfast and lunch)
• Full Day: 09.00 – 17.00 (includes breakfast, lunch, rest/nap time, and afternoon snack)

English Lessons,

• Playgroup: 5 lessons per week
• Half Day: 10 lessons per week
• Full Day: 15 lessons per week

In all program options, children also benefit from music, dance, physical education, and children’s yoga sessions led by specialist teachers, supporting both their physical and emotional development.

Program Focus Areas

Our program is designed to holistically support all areas of child development through diverse learning experiences:

Language Development

• Circle Time – Good Morning: Greeting songs, feelings of the day, weather discussions, and daily planning to strengthen communication skills.
• Story Hunt – Exploring Stories: Introducing new vocabulary, learning colors, shapes, and animals, dramatization, and puppet play for language practice.

Science and Mathematics

• Brain Gym: Fine motor strengthening, colors, shapes, and number concepts, sequencing games, logical thinking, problem-solving, and prediction.
• Discovery Time: Creative constructions with recycled materials, exploration with natural objects, mini STEAM projects, and teamwork.

Art and Creativity

• Arts & Crafts – Play with Colors: Finger painting, clay and dough work, natural-material art, themed projects, and free design time.

Play and Movement

• Dance & Movement: Dance with music, rhythm games, coordination and balance activities, group games, and animal role-play.

Music

• Orff, Music & Rhythm: Percussion instruments, rhythm and tempo exercises, songs that support language and memory development, and music–movement activities.

Sensory Activities

• Sensory Play: Play with sand, water, rice, and natural materials; activities exploring different textures, smells, tastes; developing sensory awareness and fine motor skills.

Self-Care Skills

• Life Skills: Dressing/undressing, handwashing, tidying up toys, basic kitchen activities, waiting turns, and practicing daily routines.

Our spacious outdoor areas provide opportunities for motor development, free play, and interaction with nature—each space designed to support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Teaching Staff

Our 2-Year-Olds Class teachers are graduates of education faculties—early childhood education majors—with bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees. They are experienced in early childhood education, knowledgeable about the IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme), and attentive to children’s individual needs. The teaching team includes both Turkish and international educators. English is integrated naturally into daily routines.

Emotional and Social Development Support

Our full-time psychological counselors work closely with children, conducting in-class observations and activities to support their development in the healthiest way.

We also support families throughout this journey. Observations, recommendations, and development reports are shared regularly, ensuring strong home-school collaboration.

Parent workshops, seminars, and newsletters further guide families and encourage their active participation in the developmental process.

Development Monitoring and Parent Communication

Children’s development is closely monitored and continuously shared with families. Daily follow-up forms and weekly photo updates make learning visible. Additionally, individual developmental assessments and regular parent meetings ensure that each child’s progress is carefully tracked and supported.

Health and Nutrition

A full-time nurse is present in our school every day. Our nurse supports students throughout the day, provides immediate care when needed, and keeps families informed. Health records are monitored and maintained with great care.

Healthy development is a priority in our program. Fresh and balanced meals are provided daily, and special dietary needs or allergies are managed sensitively. Hygiene and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld in classrooms and outdoor areas to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing.
