The International Day of Peace is is celebrated worldwide each year on September 21. Proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981, this special day serves as a common date for humanity to affirm its commitment to peace beyond all differences and to contribute to strengthening a culture of peace. On this meaningful day, our students watched presentations, shared their thoughts, and wrote down their wishes for a more peaceful world, which they then hung on the trees in our schoolyard. With the hope that these heartfelt wishes of our children will inspire our world and that peace will prevail everywhere… Happy International Day of Peace!
