26th Active Painting Competition: Young Artists Inspired by Jules VERNE!

15 January 2026 Thursday

Hosted by Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions, the 26th Active Painting Competition was held with the participation of 300 middle and high school students from 28 schools across Istanbul. Aiming to increase students’ interest in the arts and support young talents, the theme of the competition was inspired by the works of Jules Verne and focused on journeys, discoveries, and dreams intertwined with nature. Students interpreted the theme from their own perspectives and produced original artworks.

Works created by students competing in different categories from Grades 5 to 11 were evaluated by the Visual Arts teachers of Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions together with guest jury members Melik İSKENDER, Hülya KÜPÇÜOĞLU, and Ceyda GÜLER. Awards were presented to the students who ranked at the awards ceremony.

Students of Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions, the host organization of the competition, competed in different categories such as painting, digital art, and caricature, through a separate evaluation process. Within this scope, 400 primary school students and 191 middle and high school students took part with their original works, and awards were presented to the students who achieved rankings at a ceremony.

We congratulate all students who participated in the competition and thank our guest jury members for their valuable contributions.
